Some of our favorite memories involve a great meal, good wine, and even better company, so it only made sense to celebrate our wedding the same way.
We're keeping things intimate: 40 of our closest family and friends, a short ceremony to make it official, a cocktail hour, and a family-style dinner prepared by the talented chefs at Carnation Farms. We're skipping some of the traditions in favor of getting to spend more quality time with all of you.
-
Please arrive between 4:00pm - 4:15pm to allow plenty of time to park and make your way to the ceremony garden. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm and then we're straight into cocktails and dinner.
Please do not arrive before 4:00pm as we will likely still be setting up for the day.

Cocktail or semi-formal is great, but don't be afraid to bring some personality to it.
We encourage you to have a little fun with it, so wear something that makes you feel great and that you can actually enjoy yourself in. But we ask that you please leave your favorite pair of jeans at home.
-
There is parking on site, but spots are limited. Please try to carpool or ride share if possible.
-
A little of both! The ceremony will be outdoors, the cocktail hour will flow between indoors and outdoors, and dinner will be inside. With it being late July in Carnation, we anticipate that it will be warm and the ceremony will not be in the shade, so please plan accordingly. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended!
If the weather has other plans, we'll move the ceremony indoors and carry on without missing a beat.

We love your kids, we really do, but this one's an adults only evening. We hope that gives you a great excuse to get a babysitter and enjoy a night out!

Yes, and...
Honestly? Just showing up is more than enough. We're grateful to have you there.
That said, if you feel inclined, scroll down to contribute to our travel fund. Your gift will quite literally take us somewhere amazing. And if you'd like to bring a card or something small, we'll have a table at the entrance with a guest book waiting."

Yes, and...
If you know us, you know our two greatest loves are traveling and food. In lieu of traditional gifts, we've set up a travel fund to fuel our next great trip together. We’re not quite sure where we’re heading yet, but your contribution will help us get there. That said, your presence at our wedding is the only gift we could ever ask for… anything beyond that is just icing on the cake!
Note: When using PayPal, please select “For friends and family” and use a bank account (not a debit or credit card) to avoid transaction fees.
The Afters
Let’s party!
The ceremony is done and the dinner is finished, but we're not ready to call it a night just yet. We're going to hop on a party bus back to downtown Seattle to keep the celebration going, and we want you to come with us.
The details:
Once the wedding wraps up at Carnation Farms, we'll load up a party bus and head back into the city. There’s space for everyone from the celebration, so all guests are invited to join! When we roll into downtown Seattle, we're planning to keep the celebration going at a bar. Location is still TBD, but it'll be a good one…stay tuned!
Note: We'll have a party bus ready to take you from Carnation Farms back to downtown Seattle after the wedding, but getting yourself out to Carnation is on you. Plan ahead and we'll handle the ride home!
